Project Halo

We've done it. A stable 4 Dimensional object. A torus to be specific. With the setup we have available to us, it was the most convenient shape topologically speaking. All we had to do was isolate the reactants so completely that nothing from the outside world could affect them. At the core of the earth, it rests at the intersection of several maximal field points. The Earth's electromagnetic field is at it's strongest, along with its gravitational field. In its specialized housing, all of these forces have been allowed to collide to create a new state of matter. The way we describe it to lay people is like this, if plasma is highly energetic gas, then this new state is highly energetic solid. I'm probably boring you. The point is, we've been developing applications for this theoretical outcome for decades, but none of us ever thought it would really happen. Things are about to change for our species. For life as we know it.
